F: Care to share a favorite hurt/comfort fic?

Oh boy I can’t think of anything specific because I never bookmark anything I read. I do like hurt/comfort fics though, especially TFC fics that deal with Neil’s PTSD and Andrew providing the support he needs. 

L: What’s the weirdest AU you’ve ever come up with?

I wrote a Hotarubi no Mori e AU and a TA/student AU for the Haikyuu fandom but I don’t think they’re weird at all lol. The current AU I’m working on is a teacher/high school AU which is also probably the most basic AU ever in any fandom……

S: Any fandom tropes you can’t resist?

I love me some slow burn and mutual pining!! Give me all that glancing and fleeting touches and neck-burning and heart-wrenching shit!!! 

T: Any fandom tropes you can’t stand?

Idk if this is a trope but I hate it when one aspect of a character is played up as a defining characteristic or up to a point where the character becomes two-dimensional.

Z: Major character death–do you ever write/read it? Is there a character whose death you can’t tolerate?

Lol yeah I essentially killed off Akaashi in the aforementioned Hotarubi no Mori e AU, but otherwise I don’t really write major character deaths nor do I read them. I prefer my children alive and happy thanks, especially if they’re the main characters

1. Of the fics you’ve written, which is your favorite and why?

I had originally wanted to say Time and Tide, because it was my first TFC fic and the first fic I’ve written after a long, long writing-draught, but then I remembered how much I struggled writing that lol so I’m gonna go with Sugar, Spice, and Something Nice, because it was purely self-indulgent and I didn’t think too much before I started it, which was probably why I had a lot of fun writing it. And Idk, this sounds like I have my head stuck up my ass but it’s a feel-good fic and it’s cute and sweet (no pun intended), which was what I originally wanted it to be, and I sometimes think about it and go ‘wow, can’t believe I wrote that’  

3. Which part of [title] was hardest to write?

You said out of all my stuff instead of a specific fic, so here goes: description. Like, describing an environment or somebody’s appearance or sometimes even what somebody is doing in a particular scene. I feel that sometimes my vocabulary isn’t very extensive because I’m always like what kind of car does character A drive?? What kind of cafe are they at?? What kind of city do they live in??? How do I describe them without repeating myself?? what are words????? Also this is specific to TFC but Andrew some of the characters are so hard to write, especially when you want to keep them in character. (which is why I’m having a lot of fun with the current AU I’m working on! If somebody’s OOC I can just blame it on the fact that it’s an AU!!)
