What is your total word count on AO3?

How often do you write?

I try to write everyday now that I’m not working and studying anymore, but I used to write very inconsistently due to a busy schedule.

Do you have a routine for writing?

Not really. I usually write at night, but if I’m in a writing mood I’ll write whenever I’m awake regardless of where I am. My favorite place to write is at my desk though, and I like to snack while I’m writing 😀 Sometimes I listen to music, but this also depends on my mood. I usually prefer silence.

What are your favourite kinks/tropes/pairings?

Let’s see. I love pining, especially if it seems like it’s one-sided but it’s actually not. Hmm I also love established relationship fics (because of all the familiarity and domesticity!) and the friends to lovers trope, and sometimes I like to indulge in hurt/comfort fics because if you’re gonna give me angst you better fucking give me a happy ending and lots of fluff afterwards

Do you have a favourite fic of yours?

Eh, it depends on my mood. Sometimes it’s Time and Tide because even though it’s kind of sloppy, it was the first fic I’d written after a long writing draught so I get a bit sentimental over it lmao. But usually I’m super proud of A World Alone because – holy shit, I finished it?? I managed to write out all the scenes I’d imagined??? Unreal. Sounds fake.

Your fic with the most kudos?

The teacher AU that I mentioned above! Can’t believe it has over 900 kudos :OO

Anything you don’t like about your writing?

Lol hmm. First off – a plot? Don’t know her. Also, I have a problem of not being…precise? Concise? Like, sometimes I tend to over-explain or over-describe something because I just can’t come up with an exact term for the feeling/vibe I’m trying to convey. And English isn’t my first language so sometimes I get words confused (like vindictive and vindicate like wtf are words). ALSO my sentences tend to get too long. I really need to learn how to be more concise lmao

What do you write in (program)?

Microsoft Word, Google doc

bvkspine:

the studious reader: reads in coffe shops and at the library, drinks lots of lattes, takes the best pictures, lives for the aesthetic, blankets and cozy outfits and candles are a priority no matter the place and time of year or day, probably a literature student or in a social sciences field, tabs, comes up with the weirdest and most detailed theories

the chaotic reader: reads four books at once, regularly forgets characters’ names, crazy reading habits, reads mostly late at night or for unhealthy stretches of time, eats snacks or bites nails while reading, had an intense reading phase around the year 2014 and feels very nostalgic about that, passionate and outspoken

the summer reader: reads outside, wears sunglasses and sits directly on the ground to read, plays with sand or grass while reading, gets bored if the story is stalling or running in circles but otherwise gets easily lost in a book, likes a sweet drink or a nice cup of tea, unapologetically reads bad chick lits, plot over prose, tropes are friends

the addicted reader: reads on the bus in bed on a chair in class at work in the bath whilst walking, would read in their sleep, wears headphones to impede social interactions, owns the largest and most eclectic collection of books, refuses to think about the library of alexandria, picky and generally hard to please, likes to keep their favorite copies freakishly clean
