“today was interesting”

and neil felt a smile break across his face, so wide it strained against his scars, because andrew had been trying so hard, putting in so much effort to get to a point that he could let himself feel that, and he’s getting there, and he’s incredible. 

he curled his fingers around andrews and squeezed, before consciously relaxing his body and leaning further against him, he’s getting there, they’re both getting there and they’re going to be amazing
